The inaugural North East Scrabble Championship features a Masters section played to international Scrabble rules (including 5-point penalty per word incorrectly challenged) for all players rated over 160 in the RISPA ratings or else by choice. The Open division is a free challenge division for all players rated under 160 who have not chosen to play in the Masters group.
